Edited by Vaishali Mental health is a topic of utter signifiance in this day and age, and it's because of our inclusive, permeating and rampant struggles with mental unrest that suffering emotional turbulence is common among the best of us, but more than that, and for most of us, it's an affliction that lives with us day to day, hour to minute, minute to minute. With most anything, from the subjects of grief and pain, injury and despair, sorrow and adversity, catharsism comes in the form of expressing the pain that comes with living, and Tyler Pufpaff follows in the steps of many literary expressionists before us as he channels his experience with mental conflict in the form of poetic manifestation in his debut work, 'A Quarter Life'.

I N C O G I T A N T Staring at the ceiling in my room seems to be my favorite thing to do these days. I don’t know why that is, it’s not tiled so I can’t count anything, and it’s not textured at all. It’s just smooth and unaltered. I like it. But, I think it is without whatever real is. When I look up at it, I am neither here nor there—I am zero; lacking some feeling slipping by emulating existence bemoaning the concept itself without reach.
